EVS Sports is proud to announce their official sponsorship with the Pink Ribbon Riders during their 2012 Snow Run Tour. As a sponsor, EVS will be able to support the Pink Ribbon Riders’ mission of providing financial assistance to both men and women diagnosed with breast cancer. The 2012 Snow Run Tour, which consists of seven stops, has Snow Run events in Minnesota, North Dakota, Michigan, New York, Wisconsin, Wyoming and Colorado.
According to the PRR website, “The Pink Ribbon Riders mission is to promote breast cancer awareness in the motor sports industry for both men and women, while raising funds for those in need. In combining these two goals for our organization, we hope to bring people in the community closer as this disease not only affects those diagnosed but also those who love them.”
Receiving approximately five to seven applications per day for assistance, the PRR works tirelessly to help out as many applicants as possible. In February 2011 alone, PRR sent out almost $30,000 in patient assistance. Looking at that number alone, it’s important for companies to step it up and really consider what they can do to help out. According to Jody McKay, PRR Co Founder and Director, “Pink Ribbon Riders is extremely excited to be teaming with EVS Sports for the 2012 Snow Run Tour. We pride ourselves on safe riding at our events and look forward to the opportunity to offer the supporters and riders at the Snow Run events a new and unique product experience.”
Throughout the year, PRR, a small volunteer based organization, hosts a number of different snowmobile fundraising events. EVS Sports is happy to be teaming up with such a wonderful cause and looks forward to continue to support the PRR mission for many years to come.
