"I was at Hollister MX track and ran into Danny "Magoo" Chandler who I knew from the 70's. He convinced me to start wearing a neck brace. Wow what a difference from the original EVS R-1 to the R-4. The R4 is comfortable and light compared to th4 others that were available when I was still racing. Not racing now but when I'm doing serious off road like the BDR's, I wear my R4 and I'm looking at buying a new R4. I had a bad get off a few years ago and got "Lawn Darted" Broke 5 ribs, shoulder and hurt my neck. I walked away in my opinion due to my EVS R4."
