The TP199 Knee Guard offers everything a rider needs: high-level support and protection without the bulk of a traditional knee brace. Explicitly designed for and with input from action sports phenomenon Travis Pastrana, the TP199 Knee Pads feature EVS's Reactive Memory Foam (RMF) Technology for a soft and pliable pad that stiffens upon impact. Trac-Grip technology with strategically placed silicone grippers holds these knee guards in place and limits migration when riding. Made this?

Since the mid-90s, we’ve worked with Travis Pastrana as he pushed limits, broke records, and redefined what’s possible on two wheels. To support his fearless stunts, we crafted custom protection, including a specialized knee guard that offered maximum protection without restricting movement.

Originally designed for Travis and freestyle riders, its reputation grew, and we refined it into the TP199. Today, it offers advanced protection, enhances bike grip, and delivers the ultimate riding experience for all.

Bio-Foam 

Molded bio-foam bordering the knee cup and the polyflex shin guard provide increased impact protection. 

STABLE, ANTI- MIGRATION

Best knee protectors ever used

"Riding offroad for over 30 years now I can genuinely say that these are the best knee protectors I ever had. They fit well, there is no pinching or any type of restriction when wearing them and they stay in place all day. You barely notice them while riding. Was afraid they might be a bit hot in summer, but even that was not an issue while wearing them with ventilated pants. Only flaw - if at all - is that they are a bit hard to get over here in Europe, which is quite a shame. Nevertheless fullhearted recommendation."

"I’ve been using the EVS TP199 knee guards for quite a while on both my eMTB and my dirt bike, and they are still some of the best knee protection I’ve found. They’re comfortable, low-profile, stay in place really well, and give you solid protection without feeling bulky or getting in the way. What really impressed me is how well they work on the eMTB. Even on technical climbs where I’m pedaling hard and moving around on the bike, they stay comfortable and don’t restrict my movement. That’s a big deal because a lot of knee protection feels fine going downhill but becomes annoying the moment you actually have to pedal. The TP199s work surprisingly well for both. They’re also excellent on the dirt bike, where you obviously want a little more confidence in the protection without feeling like your knees are wrapped in plastic armor. My only issue has always been the sizing. I still have the older version from when EVS basically offered S/M and then jumped straight to L/XL. The S/M worked for me, but the fit was never absolutely perfect. So I was really happy to see that EVS has now added an M/L size. That size in between was definitely needed, and I’m hoping the new M/L will fit me even better. Other than that small sizing issue with the older version, I honestly have very little to complain about. The TP199 is an excellent knee guard. Comfortable enough for long eMTB rides and technical climbs, protective enough for dirt bike riding, and slim enough that you almost forget you’re wearing them. Really glad EVS expanded the sizing. I’m looking forward to trying the new M/L. Highly recommended."

I’ve been riding two months

"I’ve been riding two months and progressing fast. Today I really got to test the knee pads with my first big crash. I was finally sending it enough to clear jumps. But I went OTB on a landing and my bike shot up and landed on me slamming on my knee and my leg was pinned under the bike. So lucky to walk away with a mild bruise. I know I’d be out for the season if I didn’t have these pads on. I love how it has a built in knee brace and is comfortable to wear. I tried a couple knee braces first, but the fit wasn’t right. The TP199’s are just what I needed."
