Getting a Factory Ride with an OEM is the dream in the sport of motocross. Every rider drools over the idea of being able to just ‘show up’ to a race and arriving at the Factory Team Rig with your bike having fresh grips, new graphics, your gear being organized, your goggles prepped, and everything being as clean as can be. Factory efforts like this are usually limited to one ‘premier’ outfit per OEM, but Greg Geistler and the Rides Unlimited Racing outfit are changing the landscape with their up-and-coming team. The Rides Unlimited Program has always been built on the idea of a ‘Factory’ type program with uniformity throughout and a pit setup that rivals some of the professional teams, but the team has evolved and grown in just the few years they’ve been around.
Ever since the program began, Greg has focused on having the team appearance and feel of a full-fledged factory effort throughout, meaning riders all wore the same helmets and gear, the mechanics and team staff all wore the same apparel, the bikes were always pristine, the team rig was always immaculate, etc. For being a non-factory effort, the cool factor was there from day 1 with the program and that remains true to this day. While the support from an outside moto sponsor like Mr. Beast Burgers and added support from KTM has certainly enhanced and improved the Rides Unlimited effort overall, the ‘cool factor’ that comes as a side effect of partnering with prominent brands like Bell Helmets and Seven MX remains and, if anything, goes up every season as the team improves. The brands that Greg has partnered with go above and beyond with one off graphics, special colorways, and more to help Greg and his riders stand out at the races and earn that sought after look on and off the bike. With EVS now a partner with Greg and Rides Unlimited, we're excited to add that little something extra to 'the look' that Greg and his riders already have.
While the team has the ‘cool factor’ dialed in, make no mistake, Greg and his outfit are there to race. Greg has successfully created a relaxed/fun environment for his riders, their families, and his staff while also blending that mindset with a ‘get down to business’ attitude to see results come race day. The hard work gets put in at all levels. Riders like Kaed Kniffing, Kaeden Amerine, Jack Chambers, Noah Viney, Jonah and Lucas Geistler, and more have all or are currently riding for the Rides Unlimited outfit and have won races, titles and championships along the way. 2021 is already off to a great start with Chad Saultz and Jonah Geistler competing in the East Coast Lites SX season and Jack Chambers (A Class), Cameron Campbell (B Class), Lucas Geistler (125), and Noah Viney (Supermini) all representing the team on the Amateur front.
We got to see the culture and vibe of the team firsthand at the EVS Team Photo shoot last week. The attitude of the riders both on and off the bike was very relaxed and fun, yet everyone was respectful and more than accommodating. The riders were appreciative of the opportunity they had in being able to represent such a premier/sought after outfit while also being excited on now getting to rock EVS Sports protective gear!
“The guys are stoked to be with EVS! EVS has something that every one of our riders could not only use but be excited about. The service that the brand offers is second to none and we’re excited to have EVS on the Rides Unlimited Program moving forward.”, says Greg Geistler.
EVS Sports is thrilled to partner with Greg and Rides Unlimited Racing. The growth and success they’ve seen so far has been impressive to say the least and we’re excited to see the team continue to improve across the board. #TeamEVS #WeAreProtection
