Round 17 of the Monster Energy Supercross Series took place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Team EVS rider of Chase Sexton finished his season strong and was able to come away with an impressive 6th place finish in the 250 East/West Showdown. This finish secures the Geico Honda rider 5th in the 250 West Championship and was also able to come away with the “Rookie of the Year” award in the 250 Supercross Class. EVS finished the year strong with 5 riders that ended up top 10 in points for the year; Sexton 5th 250 West, Justin Hill 6th 250 West, Kyle Peters 6th 250 East, Kyle Chisholm 7th 250 West, and Hayden Mellross 10th 250 West.
EVS athletes RJ Hampshire, Josh Osby, Justin Starling, Nick Gaines, Jacob Williamson, and Vince Friese were all able to finish top 20 in their respective series as well. The 2018 Supercross season for EVS saw wins, podiums, lots of top 10’s, a rookie of the year, 5 riders that landed top 10 in points, and 11 riders finishing top 20 in points.
