LET THE 2018 NATIONALS COMMENCE
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA

Round 1 of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship took place at the Hangtown MX Classic in Sacramento, California.

Round 1 of the Outdoor Nationals took place at the Hangtown MX classic.  Team EVS riders Chase Sexton and RJ Hampshire came out swinging at the opening round.  Both riders were able to put their Geico Honda’s in the Top 10 with Sexton in 6th and RJ finishing a solid 9th overall. This was very respectable start to the 2018 season and a great accomplishment being that this was the 50th anniversary of the event.

EVS had a great showing in the 250 Moto’s with standout rides from Justin Hill (16th), Martin Castelo (22nd), Ramyller Alves (23rd), Vann Martin (24th), Chase Felong (25th), Cody Williams (27th), and Austin Root (32nd). The 450 Class saw a great ride by Kyle Chisholm in (12th), Ben Lamay (17th), and Brandan Leith (18th). 

Round 2 and the series heads South to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California Las Vegas on May 26^th, 2018.
