Geico Honda’s Chase Sexton had a night to remember in Houston for Round 2 of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series. In only his second ever professional Supercross event, Chase secured a hard fought 3rd Place.
The night started with Sexton cruising to a comfortable 2nd place in his Heat race, gaining valuable track experience and confidence.
When the gate dropped for the 250 Main, Chase rounded the first lap back in 10th place. He started to make his way to the front of the pack and by the 16th lap, Sexton moved into a podium position.
At the checkers, he finished with a career-best 3rd place. Chase now sits 5th in the 250 Western Regional standings as the series returns to Anaheim, CA for what is traditionally known as “A2” on Saturday, January 2oth.
