The Road to Loretta's can be anything but smooth sometimes and we decided to check in with a number of our #TeamEVS amateurs to find out how their Regionals went and what their goals are for the 2021 Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Motocross Championship!
In his second year as a member of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team, R.J. Hampshire comes into the 2021 Pro Motocross Championship as a contender for the 250-class title. After an early-season injury forced him to withdraw from the 250 East Supercross Series after round 2, Hampshire turned his attention to healing his body and preparing mentally and physically for 12 rounds of brutal outdoor motocross. Before the series kicked off, we caught up with R.J. to ask him about his outdoor preparation and goals coming into the 250 MX Series this summer.

As 2021 rolls on and we begin to get into the meat of the 2021 Amateur motocross schedule, our Marketing Coordinator and Athlete Manager Jackson Halsmer decided it was time for another installment in the ‘How to Talk to Sponsors’ series.  Motocross is an expensive sport for all of us and support in any capacity can be hard to find.  Thankfully, there are many avenues and methods on how an amateur rider can gain support from a brand outside of just what they do on the track.  One of those major avenues is social media and in this article we’ll touch on some major dos and don’ts to go off of with social media and how it can help represent a brand you have support from and potentially earn support from new sponsors.
